FCIA/FOP HOLIDAY PARTY

The Chicago Chapter of the Federal Criminal Investigator’s Association held a joint Holiday Party with FOP Federal Lodge 9F at Alcock’s Inn in Chicago, Illinois. The gathering kicked off the holiday season on December 06, 2004. The well attended event brought together over 100 Federal Law Enforcement Agents and Officers from a variety of Federal Agencies including IRS-CID, FBI, DEA, ICE, ATF and ICE. Numerous OIG offices as well as the United State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago were also represented. The event was hosted by FCIA National Vice President Bill Paulin and FOP Federal Lodge 9F President Al Tracy. In addition to providing the members and their guests with a good time, the spirit of giving during the Holidays was not lost amid the merriment. The FCIA provided free entry to those individuals who contributed to the Grant A Wish program. Grant A Wish provides an article of warm clothing as well as a toy to the most disadvantaged children in the Chicago area. The FCIA incentive helped generate gifts and clothing valued in the hundreds of dollars to the underprivileged children. In addition those present participated in a charity raffle whose profits went to a local orphanage. You can be sure that the FCIA will not lose focus on issues that affect Federal Law Enforcement and we will continue to support programs that assist those less fortunate in our society.
