FCIA Membership Criteria

FCIA recognizes that support for federal law enforcement is broadly based and not limited to those engaged in the active enforcement of criminal violations of the law.

Therefore, in order to achieve our professional goals and encourage interest in our profession, FCIA offers three categories of membership:

Regular member: Confined to persons currently employed in federal civil service positions, engaged in the enforcement of federal criminal laws. These include all sworn federal law enforcement officers. Regular members have full voting rights and are eligible for the FCIA death benefit. Yearly dues are $50.

Regular Retired member: These members are individuals who have retired from federal law enforcement positions. Annual dues are $25.

Associate Member: Associate members are persons interested in supporting the mission and objectives of the FCIA. This category includes: other federal employees; state and local law enforcement officers; family members; other interested individuals. Annual dues are $45, these members are non-voting and not entitled to the FCIA death benefit.

Student Member: Student members must be only full-time students, and annual dues are $25.

Please proceed to the secure application and join FCIA today!
