Former Boyfriend Arrested in Death of Federal Investigator Coke

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland police have arrested prime suspect Randy Alana in the disappearance and death of federal criminal investigator Sandra Coke whose body was found in Vacaville more than two months ago.

The Alameda County District Attorney's Office says 56-year-old Alana, who had been in jail on a parole violation since Aug. 6, was booked Thursday on suspicion of murder and theft.

Alana was jailed two days after Coke was reported missing. Police said he violated parole by contacting the investigator, whom he briefly dated about 20 years ago.
